Conflict: Curfew declared in Kwara Communities

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has imposed a curfew on Offa and Erinle towns following a renewed hostilities between some groups of persons from the two communities.
According to a statement signed by Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Rafiu Ajakaye, the curfew will be in force between six o’clock in the evening and eight o’clock in the morning until further notice.
The state government said security forces had been deployed to maintain the peace, while military reinforcements from Sobi Barracks and the Mobile Police force from Ilorin have also been deployed.
