Nobody can intimidate me, let’s meet at Appeal Court —Ajasin’s daughter tells Akeredolu

One of the aspirants of the All Progressives Congress, APC for the October 10 Governorship in Ondo State, Mrs Jumoke Anifowoshe has declared that she will appeal the ruling of the Federal High Court Abuja which dismissed her case against the validity of the July 20, 2020 primary election that produced Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu as the candidate of the party for the October 10 Governorship election.

A federal high court in Abuja, had dismissed the suit on the fact that it was not filed within 14 days of the cause of action noting that it was statutes barred.

Describing the ruling as ridiculous, Mrs Jumoke Anifowoshe said she will pursue the case to a logical conclusion.

“I did not file out of time. It’s an issue to be determined by the court of appeal. To me, the judgement is a ridiculous one”.

She maintained that she cannot be intimidated while fighting for her right without sentiment.

The APC Chieftain promised to use every legal and lawful means to get justice as she remains committed to her course.

Mrs Anifowose, who is a daughter of former Civilian Governor of the old Ondo State, Late Pa Adekunle Ajasin expressed belief in the judiciary system and hope for the best.
