Use your victory for Aketi’s Reelection —Alex Ajipe tells new LG bosses

The convener of IBI GIGA AMBASSADORS, CHIEF Alex Ajipe has congratulated the newly elected local government chairmen and councillors for their victory in last Saturday’s local government election.

He advised the new Council bosses to use their emergence to work for the victory of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu on October 10 governorship election in the state.

Ajipe also urged the new chairmen and councillors to work together in their respective local government to deliver the dividends of democracy to the people and also build on the achievement of the state governor.

This was contained in a press statement signed by AJIPE’S media aide, Solomon Adewoye in Akure the state capital.

The statement further noted that the challenges ahead are very enormous especially as the state is in the mood for October 10th governorship election.

He therefore plead with them to work for the victory of governor Akeredolu in the coming election.

“On behalf of myself and entire ibi Giga Ambassadors, I wish to congratulate all our newly elected chairmen and councillors in the just concluded local government election.

“This is indeed another promised fullfil by our amiable governor for allowing the state independent electoral commission to conduct credible election without interfering.

“However, your election should be seen as a call to service and to deliver the dividend of democracy to our people.

“I want to remind you that this election is just to test our popularity as we move closed to the main election come October 10th. I want you all to work and build on the achievement recorded so far by our dear Governor Arakunrin Olúwarotimi Akeredolu,” Ajipe said.

Chief Ajipe also thanks and congratulate the state Independent Electoral Commission (ODIEC) for conducting a peaceful, credible and fair election for the first time in the history of Ondo State and urge INEC to do the same during the October poll.
