Eld-el-kabir: Pray for peaceful Ondo Guber polls —Reps member, Akinjo begs muslims

The lawmaker representing Ilaje/Ese-odo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Kolade Akinjo has felicitated and congratulated Muslim faithful in his constituency and ondo state at large, on the occasion of this year’s Eid-El-Kabir.

In a Sallah message, Hon Akinjo urged them to leverage on the season to rededicate themselves to the teachings of Allah (SAW) and also pray for sustainable peace in Nigeria and most importantly our dear Sunshine State, even as the October 10 governorship election approaches.

Hon Akinjo enjoined Muslim and Christian youths alike across the length and breadth of the state to work relentlessly for the actualisation of peaceful coexistence and godliness while also harping on brotherly love as exemplified in the holy Qur’an.

The lawmaker also uses the medium to appeal to them to eschew every form of violence before and after the polls for the overall good of the state.

Akinjo pointed out that Prophet Ibrahim’s ability to lay down his son’s life as a sacrifice to God exemplifies dedication to Almighty Allah and submission to His Will, which the Reps member believes must be imbibed by all Muslim faithful.

He also prays for many more sallah celebrations to come in good health and wealth.

“To all our Muslim brothers and sisters, within and outside our federal constituency, I wish you a happy and fulfilling Eid-Mubarak celebration.

“May you be filled with happiness and may every step of your journey through life be blessed by Allah(Amen). Happy Eid-al-Adha Mubarak,” Akinjo said.
