The Chairman, House Committee on NDDC & Member representing Akoko North East/North West Federal Constituency of Ondo State, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, has felicitated with Muslims on the occasion of the 2020 Eid-el-Fitri celebration, enjoining them to use the festival to pray fervently for an end to health crisis facing the country occasioned by COVID-19 pandemic.
In a Sallah message personally signed by him, Hon Tunji-Ojo popularly known as BTO, wishes that Almighty Allah shall give speedy answers to all faithful supplications during the Holy month and He shall overlook all their shortcomings.
“I felicitate with the Muslim ummah in Ondo State and Akoko North East East/Akoko North West Federal Constituency in particular on the successful completion of the Holy month of Ramadan.
“It is my solemn wish that Almighty Allah shall give speedy answers to all your supplications during the Holy month and He shall overlook all your shortcomings.
“I urge you to use this period of Eid-el-Fitr celebration to pray for an end to the health crisis facing the country and world at large, namely the COVID 19 pandemic,” Tunji-Ojo said.
“In addition, I urge all Muslim faithful to use the Sallah period to reach out to the vulnerable in their areas. It is time to reflect on the lessons of virtues of sacrifice, such as forgiveness, piety, self-denial and genuine love towards one another as preached during Ramadan.
“The grace of Allah to continue to prosper materially and in good health shall not elude you and your household,” the federal lawmaker prayed.
