Ramadan: Keep faith, Keep Hope Alive —Kekemeke, Bode Ayorinde urge Muslims

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) governorship aspirant in Ondo State, Dr Bode Ayorinde popularly known as “Achievers”, has felicitated with all Muslim brothers and sisters in Ondo state, in Nigeria and all over the world as they commence another fasting period of Ramadan.

In a statement signed by his Senior Media Aide, Mr Olusegun Hakeem Adebumiti, and made available to SUNSHINETRUTH, Ayorinde explained that “Ramadan period offers a unique opportunity to reflect on God’s faithfulness and pray for divine guardian, draw closer to the Almighty Allah and deepen relationship with Him in total submission to His words”.

The PDP Chieftain, who is also a former Member of the House of Reps from Owo/Ose federal constituency, admonished Muslim faithfuls to use this holy period to pray for the progress of Ondo state and Nigeria in general.

He asked them to pray for peace and unity of the nation and for Almighty Allah to put an end to the deadly disease called Corona Virus (COVID-19) in our nation so that normalcy can return to our land.

The Aspirant called on everyone to be grateful to Almighty Allah for being alive and witnessing this year’s Ramadan period.

While praying that the holy month will usher in season of abundant blessings and restore peace, progress and prosperity to our state and country, Ayorinde, who is the founder of Achievers University, Owo, enjoined everyone to remain law abiding and adhere to safety precautions “by the state and federal governments so that we can all be alive to witness the “HOPE ALIVE” administration coming up in Ondo state and to ensure that collectively, we fight against the deadly Corona virus disease that has affected our lives negatively in the past few months.”

KEKEMEKE URGES MUSLIMS TO PRAY, KEEP FAITH AND STAY SAFE DURING RAMADAN

One of the leading All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant in Ondo state ahead of the October 10, 2020 polls, Hon Isaacs Kekemeke has joined the rest of the world to felicitate with Muslim faithful on the month of Ramadan.

In a Ramadan message, the former Ondo Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice encouraged Muslims to keep faith with God as they use this period to pray for victory over coronavirus pandemic.

”As you strive hard during this Ramadan period amidst the covid_19 insurgence, please ensure maximum safety and emulate Prophet Mohammed virtues of peace sacrifice, steadfastness and faith to successfully defeat the virus in our land, and for restoration of the social economic activities,” Kekemekes said.

The former Secretary to the State Government and Bureau Head of Leke Leke movement assured citizens of his administration’s readiness to take Ondo state out of hunger and abject poverty and re position it on the path of all round development if elected in October governorship poll.
