INAUGURATION OF THE 9TH NATIONAL ASSEMBLY: MY SINCERE APPRECIATION
I return all the glory to the Almighty, the invisible and only wise God for the successful inauguration of the 9th National Assembly.
I wish to express my heartfelt gratitude to the Leadership and members of our great Party, the People’s Democratic Party at the National, State, Local Government and ward levels for your kind and unalloyed support before, during and after the inauguration.
Your support and prayers had gone a long way in making me stronger and much prepared for the task ahead.
I want to sincerely appreciate my immediate family, friends, leaders, party faithfuls and well wishers across all walks of life for physically attending the inauguration at the Nation’s capital city. I want to say a very big thank you to you all.
Let me equally appreciate those who could not make it to Abuja for one reason or the other. I appreciate your text messages, calls and the way through which you celebrated us. I am highly elated.
Let me assure you that I am more than prepared and equipped for the great task of law making for the benefit of the good people of Akure North and South as well as the nation at large.
Let me restate my commitment to ensuring a purposeful leadership with greater result and benefit for us as all with the proclamation of the 9th National Assembly.
I make a solemn vow to represent you and protect the collective interest of our constituency irrespective of political, religious or ethnic affiliation.
We are now at a critical time of settling down for the business of law making. I crave for your understanding, cooperation and prayers as we embark on this great journey for a greater, equitable and prosperous constituency.
Above all, Let me end with the word of King Solomon. “I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all”.
It is indeed a new dawn as we look forward to a better assured days.
Thank you all.
Hon. Omolafe Adedayo (Expensive)
MHR, Akure North & South Federal Constituency.
