The Nigeria Civil Service Union (NCSU), Ondo State Council under the able Leadership Comrade Olapade Ademola Adeniji and the entire members on Tuesday felicitated with Muslim brothers and sisters especially civil servants in Ondo State on the occasion of Eld-el-fitri celebration.
In a Sallah Message signed by Comrade Ademola, the NCSU said, “We thank the Almighty Allah who saw them through the Month of Ramadan and we pray that Allah will grant all their good hearts desires”.
The Union urged workers to learn from the lessons of the just concluded holy month to let the spirit of oneness, hard working, holiness and love continue among them and the employers to ensure rapid growth and peaceful co-existence in all ramifications of Ondo state in particular and Nigeria in general.
The NCSU Chairman noted that, “the prayers and sacrifices of the Muslim ummah during the period have really enhanced the relative peace witnessed across the State and we enjoin faithful to embark on fervent prayers for our nation to overcome security challenges of kidnapping, banditry and killings by insurgents in parts of the federation”.
Ondo NCSU equally advised all Nigerians to seize the momentum of the conclusion of this year’s Ramadan fast to work and pray for sustainable development and economic well-being of the country.
While wishing our Muslim workers and indeed other Nigerians Happy sallah celebration, the Union charged them not to relent in displaying the discipline, restraint, discretion, piety and good neighbourliness they exhibited during the fasting period.
