Hon. Adedayo Omolafe, a member of the House of Representatives -elect for Akure North/Akure outh Federal Constituency of Ondo state has congratulated people of his constituency for witnessing and celebrating another Easter festival that symbolised the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Omolafe popularly known as EXPENSIVE called on the federal government to do everything humanly possible to rescue schoolgirls in the captivity of Boko Haram and urges prayers for them.
In his Easter Message issued in Akure, the PDP federal lawmaker-elect said, “I wish to congratulate all Christians in Akure North and South Federal Constituency and Christians across the globe on the celebration of the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ”.
“This season represent the unending love of God for mankind and restoration of man through the work of the cross. I urge you all at this season to imbibe the spirit of forgiveness and selflessness which Christ represent”.
“We must use this occasion to seek the face of God to return our country to the path of greatness and speedy economic recovery. As we look forward to the commencement of the 9th Legislative Assembly, I seek your cooperation and productive input that will make our Constituency great”, Omolafe opined.
He said, “I promise to remain open to suggestions and I will continue to rely on your unalloyed support which you freely gave me at the last poll. I will continue to serve you and give you a rewarding and competent representation”.
“Let us use this festive season to reflect on the good deeds which Christ teaches”.
Omolafe who is also a former Akure South local government Chairman noted that, “I also urge all Christians across the globe to remember Leah Sharibu and other girls who are in captivity in our prayer. I equally call on the Federal Government to do everything possible to rescue the remaining girls and unite them with their family without further delay”.
“Once again, I wish you all Happy Easter. May this season bring us joy, good tidings and peace”, Hon. Adedayo Omolafe prayed.
