Ondo State Hosts 3-day Radio Nigeria Summit

The content summit of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria , FRCN kicks off tomorrow at Ilara Mokin , Ondo State.

The two day summit is taking place at the performing and film theatre hall , Elizade University, Ilara Mokin.

Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu is expected to formally declare the summit open on Monday the 8th of April while the Commissioner for Information, Yemi Olowolabi, Ondo State NUJ Chairman, Comrade Adetona Aderoboye and the state RATTAWU Chairman, Comrade Olorunfemi are special guests.

Speakers include a former acting D.G , FRCN , Alhaji Bola Agboola , former executive director , Prince Atilade Atoyebi , Dr Gbenga Abimbola of Adekunle Ajasin University and Motivational speaker , Mr Jeffrey Abidoye.

Top echelons of FRCN , Director General , Dr Mansur Liman , zonal director , Ibadan Zonal station , Alhaji Mohammed Bello and General Manager , Positive FM , Mr Tunde Abiodun will lead delegates from Radio Nigeria stations across the south west to the event.

A statement by the Chairman, Local organising Committee, Adebukola Bardi indicates that the theme of the summit is “Commercialisation and Professionalism in Broadcasting : Striking The balance”.
