Emmanuel Foundation International greets muslims, donates food stuff, gifts to Indigents

Emmanuel Foundation International has congratulated Muslims on the occasion of Eld-el-kabir celebration as the organization donated food items and relief materials the less privileged Muslims.

The donation to the indigent Muslim faithful, as gathered, was made to help cushion the effects of the daunting effects of the economic meltdown.

The Principal partner Mr Olanrewaju Akeredolu said the foundation decided to undertake the project to help in ensuring that the vulnerable and less privileged were taken care of to a reasonable extent.

Akeredolu said, “Our organisation is one that seeks to put smiles on the faces of people by providing basic necessities of life. As such we embarked on a festive outreach with the theme “A Special Ileya Charity Outreach.”

“This event saw a team from the foundation visiting the Akure central mosque in Akure the ondo state capital with gifts of food items, clothing and other welfare items,” Akeredolu said.

The Chief Imam of Akure, Alhaji Abdulhakeem Yayi-Akorede while receiving the items, thanked the foundation for its generosity. He said that the Muslim community would forever remain grateful for the gifts.

While giving his remarks, Alhaji Yayi-Akorede expressed the belief that, if everyone embraced the spirit of love, more lives would be better for it. He stated that God would not come down from heaven to help people in need.

One of the parners, Balogun Adeola thanked the chief imam for gladly receiving the team and also appreciated all partners for their contributions both in cash and kind towards the success of the outreach.

He said that the foundation has been able to record successes in different areas as a result of partners who have contributed selflessly both in cash and in kind.

“We hope to do more when the resources are available,” he pledged.
