The Convener of Ibi-Giga Ambassadors and Managing Director of Klick Konnect Network International Limited, Chief (Dr)/Alex Oluremi Ajipe has led some of the ambassadors to the residence of late don, Professor Olu Aboluwoye, where described the scholar as a dogged fighter and man of high integrity.
Until his demise at the age of 58 last week thursday Professor Christopher Olu Aboluwoye was a Senior lecturer Chemistry Department at Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko and close political associate of the state governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.
Ibi Giga Ambassadors, a frontline support group routing for the reelection of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.
Ajipe who is also the Chief Executive Office of the Network International Limited, an Ondo State based-Public and Investor Relations Firm, stated when he led the directors of the group on a condolence visit to the family of the late professor, that Aboluwoye was a bold and reliable icon in the state.
A Press Statement signed by YinkaSalard Akinterinwa, Director of Media of the group quotes the Ibi-Giga Convener, to have said that the group was deeply touched by the sudden passage of Prof Aboluwoye at a time when all good spirited people were working to further deepen good governance under the Akeredolu-led administration in the State.
Ajipe said “we will ensure that we work with the foot soldiers raised by our late Professor to realise his vision (deepening good governance and reelection of Akeredolu) for the state”.
The Klick Konnect MD prayed God to grant the soul of Prof Aboluwoye peaceful rest and grant the entire family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
Also speaking, the Deputy Director-General, Ibi Giga Ambassadors, Barrister Alaba Eniola-Ajipe described the deceased as “an unquenchable light and a rare gem”, adding that his life and commitment were worthy of emulation.
Responding on behalf of the family, the eldest son of the late Professor of Chemistry, Olumuyiwa Aboluwoye, thanked the group for the visit and urged it to carry on with all that his father stood and fought for.
